This short animation was tasked with the goal of acting as a PSA of sorts, the focus I had chosen was to make an animation that would push an interest in astronomy and space exploration.
The use of small 3D animation for the galaxies in the video was done to help properly capture the movement and color of the galaxies to ensure people watching had the right idea. These 3D animations were placed on top of hand-drawn backgrounds with the intent of having an almost storybook-esque quality to the animation in order to help capture the wonder of the universe and inspire people to learn more about it.
